Practical delivery during production
Every manufacturing site is different. Shift patterns, logistics flows, safety protocols and access constraints all shape how infrastructure upgrades must be delivered — particularly when renewable energy systems become long-term operational assets.
When working on live factory and warehouse environments, the focus extends beyond system design. It is about detailed planning and careful sequencing around people, processes and production so that the site continues operating as normal throughout installation.
That was the approach taken on our recent project with Zestec Renewable Energy, backed by Octopus Energy Generation, for global manufacturer RENOLIT at its 24/7 UK manufacturing facility in Northumberland.
Industrial facilities often have significant untapped roof and car park space. Converting that into reliable, on-site renewable energy requires coordinated engineering, structured logistics and rigorous safety management — particularly within live operational environments.
From access planning and shutdown scheduling to phased installation and stakeholder coordination, our role is to ensure renewable infrastructure works with the site — not against it.
